Hey y'all!

It's been about 6 months since the release of GESTALT: The Fifth Day on Steam back in April. Most people know at this point that the game was originally released here on Itch as a free-to-play game, with much of the older mechanics, original gameplay, and art. I've wanted to give everyone on Itch an updated, more modern experience of Gestalt, and now I can finally say that it's coming this month! The timing comes with today's announcement of the 'Another Day' DLC, a paid DLC that will be releasing over on Steam, along with it's third major update, releasing for free on Steam on the same day. So, what does that mean for this Itch launch?

GESTALT: The Fifth Day COMPLETE is a new version of the game that will be releasing here on Itch on October 28th, 2024 (Less than a month from now), the same day as the DLC+Update on Steam! The Complete version of the game differs slightly than it's Steam counterpart; because the base game is available on Steam for $6, and the DLC will be available for $3, The Complete version will be available on Itch for $9! This will include everything from the Steam version of the game, the free update, and all of the DLC content as well. Additionally, because Steam has discontinued iOS and Mac support, the Mac version of the game will be available on Itch as well!

GESTALT has been received better than I could have hoped. Along with working with the publishers over at 072 Project, I love watching gameplay videos and streams of the game, and have really been wanting more people to play this version of the game now that the original free-to-play version is so limited in comparison. I hope the Complete version of the game helps with that, and gives the Mac users a chance to join in too.
